Day 1: THE CITY CENTER

Cape Town City Walking Tour Begin your visit to our wonderful city with a guided tour through the historic streets of Cape Town. The journey starts in Greenmarket Square to the oldest colonial building in South Africa the Castle of Good Hope. Then to the Grand parade, the District Six Museum, Parliament and into St.George’s Cathedral while the tour guide shares stories of our diverse cultural background. Cape Town Explorer Topless Bus (Red Route) Join the Cape Town Explorer for a 2 hour guided open top bus trip around the Mother city. The 13 stops include the Convention Centre, the Jewish Museum, The SA Museum, The Cableway and the V&A Waterfront. You may break your tour at any of the Explorer stops and continue later. Table Mountain Aerial Cableway No trip to Cape Town is complete without a visit to the World famous Table Mountain. The Cableway operates on a daily basis, but is weather dependant. Enjoy a meal with magnificent views at the Dizzie Dassie restaurant, or simply browse for some mementos of this premier tourist attraction at the curio shop. Short guided walks depart daily from the Upper Cable Station and these are free of charge. Visiting African Markets Browse around the Green Market Square and Pan African market for authentic African souvenirs.
